How to Find my Temporary Access Token

WhatsApp Integration

A Temporary Access Token is a quick and easy way to connect your WhatsApp account to Rechatbox.

The way it works is by granting Rechatbox access to your WhatsApp account through a temporary token that you can generate from the Facebook Developer dashboard.

Please note that this token expires after 24 hours, so make sure you have your WhatsApp setup page inside Rechatbox open and ready to paste the token.

Step 1

Head over to your Facebook Developer dashboard and click on your Facebook app.

Step 2

Scroll down, and on the left, click WhatsApp (fig1), then click API setup (fig2).

Step 3

Your Temporary Access Token is found first thing (fig1). You can also click Refresh (fig2) in case the token is about to expire.

Copy this token and paste it into the WhatsApp setup page inside Rechatbox.
